Art Ankara International Contemporary Art Fair, which was held for the 7th time this year in Ankara Congresium, opened its doors to art lovers between 30 March and 3 April. The fair hosted more than 100 participants, including galleries, universities, institutions that provide artistic education, companies producing artistic materials, solo shows and independent projects. At the fair, which took place on an area of 11 thousand square meters, 22 interviews were held in which different approaches, problems and claims in the art world were discussed. Painting, sculpture, glass work and installation works by nearly a thousand artists from six countries took part in the fair. In addition to Ankara University, Hacettepe University, Başkent University, Atatürk University, Uşak University and Trabzon University, Şırnak University also took part in this comprehensive exhibition. Works of the graduate students of the Painting Department of our university who participated in the exhibition under the leadership of Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts Prof. Dr. İsmail Ateş, Chief Advisor of the Rector Prof. Dr. Tahir Nalbantçılar and Research Assistant Beyza Durhan, were met with great interest by the audience.
