Our university signed the Erasmus Declaration in 2010 and made agreements with 20 countries, and with its outstanding efforts, it ranked first among newly opened universities in terms of the amount of grants and the number of students benefiting from them.

Our university has become the Contact Point of the European Union Network Eurodesk, which provides information on European opportunities in the field of education for young people and the participation of young people in European activities.

Attaching great importance to scientific and academic studies and carrying out its studies with a universal perspective, our University has won the appreciation of all our stakeholders with four successful international symposiums it has organized before it was even five years old. Continuing its studies with the slogan “An international symposium every year”, our University has hosted hundreds of scientists from Turkey and abroad by organizing the International Şırnak and Surroundings Symposium in 2010, the International Symposium on İdil from Past to Present in 2011, the International Symposium on Cizre in Science, Thought and Art in 2012, and the International Prophet Noah and Cudi Mountain Symposium in 2013. Our University has positively promoted the province of Şırnak with the successful symposiums it has organized, and has also contributed to the emergence of the social, cultural and economic potential of our province.

In the studies carried out by our university faculty members, the renewable energy and mining potential in our region was examined and the values ​​​​of Şırnak Province were tried to be revealed.

The City of Noah Youth Museum Project and the Field in My Pocket Project prepared by our university have been met with interest by the scientific community and have won international awards.

The Project for Improving Working Conditions and Increasing Job Opportunities for the Workforce in the TRC3 Region, worth 4 Million Euros and developed by our university faculty members, has been accepted by the European Union Delegation to Türkiye.

The Theatre Project titled “My Stage on My Back, I Travel from Village to Village”, which was carried out by our University in the cultural field and implemented within the scope of SODES, has attracted great attention and won the appreciation of the local people.

The Spring and Sports Festivals, which are held regularly every year, enable our students to do sports, have fun and socialize with each other; and the aim of the festival is to integrate our University with the local community through events such as concerts, plays, exhibitions and symposiums held open to the public.
